 RETURNS

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, and we understand that sometimes things just don’t work out. We try our best to describe our products accurately on our website, and we ask that you pay close attention to specifications and sizing prior to ordering to help us reduce the expense and environmental impact of returns. 


We gladly accept unopened, unworn, or defective merchandise within 30 days of receiving your order and unopened food, apothecary, or beauty - including nail products within in 14 days of receiving your order. As we are a small business, we do not issue return labels, unless an item is defective or an incorrect item was sent to you unless the items were sent to a gift recipient. You can add the packing slip that was included, or a note with your name & order number so we can be sure who to refund! Once we receive your return, we will issue the credit back to the original payment method.  Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the product is determined to be defective.          

If you'd like to request an exchange for a purchased item, please  contact info@thefrenchmarket.com to ensure your exchange is available, or send back your return with your exchange request on the packing slip provided in your order. For exchanges, original shipping fees are refunded. 
    

Returns will be considered for any item that is in sellable condition and in its original packaging, within 30 days of receipt of goods. Food, apothecary, beauty - including nail, items must be factory sealed and returned with in 14 days. 

For sanitary reasons, we cannot accept returns on hair brushes, combs, razors, manicure sets, pumice stones, or body brushes.

Gift Recipient Return Policy

We do include a packing slip without the prices that can be used as a gift receipt for anyone receiving our items as a gift, so they may contact us for an exchange for another gift(s) as the same value or which we can let they know a price range. They can also offer to pay more if they’d like something at a higher value, less the credit or their thoughtful gift. We will cover the return shipping cost for the gift(s). The same return policies listed above applies to which gift items are returnable. All online gift returns must include original packaging, with tags intact, and paperwork.

Gift cards are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange. 

Damaged Items

Occasionally, despite our best efforts to package your items with care, parcels may be damaged in transit. If this happens and the product inside is affected, we ask that you please contact us immediately with photos of both the outer shipping box/mailer and the damaged product. 

Defective or Inaccurate Items

If you have reason to believe a product you purchased is defective, or if you were sent the wrong product, please reach out to us as soon as possible after receiving it by sending a photo of the affected item(s) to info@thefrenchmarket.com. We will work with you to determine the cause of the problem and if a replacement is needed, then we will arrange for a pre-paid return label to be sent to you.
